Six CD's of original songs, written between January 2008 and present, may be obtained in small quanities--a venture somewhat completed, at least part of it. Richard Neil Volumes I and II, entitled "Padded Walls," contains songs written initially, mostly in 2008-9; Richard Neil Volumes III & IV, "Chronological Order & Disorder," followed within a couple of years; Richard Neil Volume V & VI, "Misdeal!" represents a little reshuffling, reflection, redistribution, and concentration on new combinations in 2012.

Volumes I through IV have been recorded again with a few instances of rewriting, which worked out well in some cases or at least better for a home dog's effort. Light percussion and a little background have been added, but still not nearly as much ass needed.

The most amazing thing is how far a little sound addition or refinement goes. A bunch of input, instruments, and equipment would be nice. Hopefully, attempts to produce more polished recordings will transpire. In the meantime (which may be a long time), songs--as is, in nearly the roughest form possible--are available, on a permission basis, of course.

A new book remains a possibility. An idea and general concept exists as well as does a title, given years ago as from Above by Mother and recommended and approved since by an almost as qualified and respected adviser. A small chapter rough draft like thing even reached completion in a plush deserted rail car rocking into frigid Zurich a few years back. It must happen fast if it is to happen at all.

As for more songs--hopefully and probably. May be a true addiction,..only one. A seed of a new song has already begun, despite myself and best intentions of giving  it a needed rest for a while.
